1st National Seminar “LISA Presentation” – 3rd December 2002

In the first National Seminar it was presented the LISA project, namely the objectives, partnership, tasks involved. The work team was established and it was emphasized the cooperation work between the national teams that are participating in this project, because the main objective of LISA is to create Learning Region in each country.

2nd National Seminar “How to Establish a Learning Region” – 17th December 2002

In second National Seminar it was discuss the Learning Region concept and defined the aspects of our Learning Region. It were identified the institutions in the geographical region that were important to have in the Learning Region and the best strategy to start and continue working together to offer learning opportunities to Seniors in Almeirim region.

Universidade Senior de Almeirim - USAL (Senior University of Almeirim) and Câmara Municipal de Almeirim (Almeirim City Hall)

3rd National Seminar “How to elaborate Interviews and Questionnaires Scripts” – 21st April 2003

In third National Seminar it was presented the methodological aspects of elaborating questions to interviews and questionnaires scripts, specially targeted to Portuguese Seniors group.

Participants:
Centro Paroquial de Bem-Estar Social de Almeirim (Almeirim Parochial Centre) and Escola Superior de Educação de Santarém (Santarém Education High School).

4th National Seminar “Application of Questionnaires” – 5th May 2003

The fourth National Seminar was focused in the application of questionnaires rules, namely how to reach the seniors, what information should be given to them before present the questionnaire and how to help the questionnaires fulfil.

Participants:
Centro Distrital de Solidariedade e Segurança Social (District Social Security and Solidarity Centre) and Centro Paroquial de Bem-Estar Social de Almeirim (Almeirim Parochial Centre).

5th National Seminar “Application of Interviews” – 19th May 2003

The fifth National Seminar was focused in the application of interviews rules, namely what information should be given to them before start the interview, how to conduct an interview, how to conduct a group interview and to register the important information.

Participants:
Cooperativa de Formação e Animação Cultural – COFAC (Cultural Animation and Training Cooperative) and Universidade Senior de Almeirim - USAL (Senior University of Almeirim).

6th National Seminar “Transcription and Typing the Recorded Group Interviews” - 22nd September

The sixth National Seminar was focused on how to make the transcription and typing of recorded group interview.

7th National Seminar “Content Analysis of Open-Ended Questions”– 17th November 2003

The seventh National Seminar was focused on how to make the content analysis of open-ended questions, namely how to create categories and to analyse the information.

8th National Seminar “Content Analyses of the Interviews” – 15th December 2003

The eighth National Seminar was focused on how to make the content analyses of the interviews, namely how to analyse the information in thematic areas.

9th National Seminar “Validation and Enrichment of the Obtained Data with Seniors”– 12th January 2004

The ninth National Seminar was focused in the validation and enrichment of the obtained data with seniors, namely after the content analyses of the information obtained the preliminary report was elaborated and discussed in the National Seminar with the seniors, to confirm the obtained information.

10th National Seminar “Validation and Enrichment of the Obtained Data with Actors of the Learning Region”– 26th January 2004

The tenth National Seminar was focused in the validation and enrichment of the obtained data with seniors, namely after the content analyses of the information obtained the preliminary report was elaborated and discussed in the National Seminar with the actors of the Learning Region, to confirm the obtained information.

11th National Seminar “How to Write the Report - Seniors Training Needs Diagnoses of Almeirim Learning Region” – 26th April 2004

The eleventh National Seminar was focused in the elaboration of report, namely structure and how to present the contents inside each part.

12th National Seminar “How to Work in Transnational Teams”– 12th May 2004

The twelfth National Seminar was focused on how to work in transnational teams, namely preparing the seniors to actively participate in the last LISA meeting and helping them to prepare their speech.
